We travel back to the years when your actions were unpredictable, your experiences some kind of new and your feelings sometimes overwhelming.
This selection of songs is not meant to be from a certain musical era and we don’t stick to a specific genre. It is music written and recorded in professional studios, but also live recordings and demos by friends and strangers.
There’s the opening song by Eva, someone who I met when she was working at a venue in Ziegrastraße, but also the recording of a Soft Machine gig from the 70s. Other artists featured are Robert Wyatt, Gabi Annicette, the german band Tocotronic.
I put together a mix that transports a certain feeling and makes me draw pictures in my mind. The songs are put in order to be your sonic coming of age movie.
