Expanding upon her 2021 somatic writing and performance workshop Reading the Body, Monilola Ilupeju offers Resonant Limbs, a new radiophonic writing workshop with Cashmere Radio. The workshop is founded on the understanding that the voice is not only an extension of the body, but the body itself. It is the resonant limb through which we can begin to wade through the murkiness of interior life and articulate our experiences with more nuance and specificity. Meditating on the alchemic potential of the voice to ground, connect and empower, the workshop invited writers to read their new and pre-existing auto-biographical texts on Cashmere’s radio waves to listeners all over Berlin and the world.
