Macy Conference #17 with STRFLD Simulation and PareiDoliA 27.10.2018

The first hour of this show features a selection of experimental music across
genres, with works by David Behrman, François Bayle, NYZ, DJ Earl and Suzi
Analogue, Raime, Kim Juk-P'a, Ursula Bogner, Theo Burt, Alvin Lucier and others.
In the second part of the show, the two Berlin based experimental musicians
Marta Zapparoli [http://martazapparoli.blogspot.com] and Liz Allbee
[http://lizallbee.net] are presenting their PareiDoliA project. Together they
consider the inaudible pollution that surrounds us. A sonic web of signals and
noises that propogate through space and traverse our bodies. Marta gives voice
to these otherwise imperceptible waves using self-built antennas and world-wide
band receivers, drawing awareness to the potentially harmful biological and
environmental side effects. In response Liz moves outwards from the inner,
highly subjective world of a remarkable trumpet play...
