Aporia Presents: Futon vol. 1 ~ Music for Bubble Baths
Recorded between his bedroom studio, ‘The Aquarium’ in Berlin and in various field-recording locations across the globe, the Futon project aims to create meditative, tropical atmospheres that drift from reality to fantasy. With field recordings from South Africa, New Zealand, China, Iceland and Central Europe, the project was designed with the setting of a bath in mind. However this volume can be used in a multitude of relaxing settings.
Using a combination of synthesizers, field-recordings, computers and four track tape machines, the volume guides one from the botanical to the deep marine, from the savanna to the city center.
