Threads I’ve been collecting for the past month, woven together, product of deep dives, listening to the inspiration of others. Some music has this upper frequency vibration, difficult to hear and recognize – it could be that some of these cuts have that. Feeling the difference between sounds that make air contact and those that don’t. It could be that mixing it yourself in the box in your bedroom wasn’t the best idea, all those tutorials and plugins won’t give you the ears needed. Sometimes all that’s needed is a cheap mic in a room, or an expensive mic in an expensive studio. Places and time. Just some passing thoughts on an early Tuesday morning the day after.
