Boji are intermedia queer musician and performer from Kyiv, Ukraine. Their artistic practice refers to a performative vocal as a main media, exploring topics of control, voice exploitation, spirituality and religion, imitation and speculation. Their practice is based on humour and pain: some pieces can make the audience laugh, while another – cry.
“I have a huge tapeworm in my stomach, come closer and say hi to it” is a quote from Bodji’s song that describes the state that a person can experience while listening to their performances.
