CASHMERE LIVE - Digesting Lewinsky - The Lewinsky Sisters (with PushPull Showcase)

Digesting Lewinsky is an ironic comment both on the Lewinsky affair and on Monica Lewinsky’s own recent analysis of it.
Using a speech made by Lewinsky earlier this year as material, the performance investigates the earliest and most epic instance of slut-shaming on the internet, the emergence of uncanny doppelgängers in the magic mirror of the media as well as the pitfalls of starting a love affair with your boss (that happens), especially if your boss is the president of the United States (that probably happens less often).
PushPull is a bellow-based hybrid instrument which has both analog and digital control elements and was developed as part of the 3DMIN project (3dmin.org).
