CACTUS is a project born from a shared need for music as a constant presence. When three friends connected sonically across different moments, places, and dancefloors, CACTUS naturally came to life. The name carries history: in 1970s Chile, Paulita’s parents defied military curfews by escaping to a local club called CACTUS—dancing as resistance. This spirit deeply shaped Paulita’s musical journey. Alongside Marian Tone and Shahrokh Dini, CACTUS became a meeting point of different backgrounds and sounds, flowing freely between disco, soul, house, boogie, funk, and everything in between.
