The curator of Nusasonic, as well as the guitarist of The Observatory
(Singapore), Yuen Chee Wai is here to compile and document some songs, people,
thoughts, spirit and will of a small group of people who envision a possibility
of a new space, place, environment, through imagining, critiquing, resisting and
becoming. This compilation called "The Awakening of A City". Started with Leslie
Low, it goes to .gif feat. Bani Haykal, the project of Frank Gratkowski, Achim
Kaufmann, Wilbert De Joode, Yong Yandsen, Kok Siew Wai, Darren Moore, and then
Dewa Alit, Phew, Cheryl Ong, Moe & Mette Rasmussen, George Chua, Madam Data &
Savan DePaul, and finally ends with Koichi Shimizu.
