According to Nusasonic’s artistic director, Joee Mejias, “Dreams Are Renegade”.
She's questioning how reality affects our dreams and what is it about dreams
that make us want to leave reality? This mixtape features tracks from
performance and improvisation from artists that inspire visuals and can lead to
ponder on the question.
Jol3na with Martin De Mesa, Menstrual Synthdrone, Elemento, Betty Apple,
Linhafornow, Aisha Devi and 33EMYBW, Mananangals Blood Lounge, White Boy Scream,
Pasta Groove, and finally Su Zar Zar. A mix of organic and electronic sounds,
ambient and noise, also the use of the voice that gestures thoughts and
hesitations, somehow gives the feeling of a primal past and a future that is
fleeting.
