JM.Dasha is a DJ from Donetsk region in Ukraine. For the last 2 years she was based in Mariupol, were she lived in a total blockade and then in the occupation by brutal russian soldiers, but finally escaped her home.
JM.Dasha is a resident of the ShumRave (which means 'noise' in Ukrainian) – a Ukrainan NGO based in Slovyansk, Donetsk region, throwing rave parties at abandoned war-affected places and transforming ruins into dance floors from 2019.
She is also a resident of the NGO TU platform, where she taught DJing courses – an art-institution founded in Mariupol by people, who had to flee their homes from Donetsk in the search of a safer place in 2014.
