Drawing inspiration from a traditional Ottoman cafe concept that emerged in the 16th century, this show aims to recreate the vibrant and multicultural musical gatherings that once flourished in these spaces. In those times, musicians from diverse ethnic backgrounds across the Ottoman and nearby regions would come together to drink coffee, socialize, and jam. They exchanged experiences and ideas, contributing significantly to the rich tapestry of multicultural music that characterized the Ottoman era.
