JAUME is a collaboration between artist Céline Mathieu and Levi Lanser. Their first album, ‘Rabid’, uses leaking language and samples, that combine gentle warping and sudden jolts, with this idea of ‘fucking up the voice, hearing it whispered, meowing, bending…’ (as described by sound artist Max Parnell)
In addition to airing on Cashmere, 'Rabid' is currently played in an exhibition in a Michelin Restaurant, Cellar Door Provisions in Chicago, where artist-run space Apparatus Projects curates an exhibition program. Apparatus Projects is a non-profit exhibition space and publisher dedicated to furthering advanced research around contemporary art and life practices.
