The 8th episode of the series features a guest mix by Venezuelan producer
Trujillo.
Representing the Cosmic Caribe Sound, Trujillo presents 80 minutes of tropical
lushness, where celestial guitars go hand in hand with subtle flute melodies and
latin percussion grooves.
Over the second part the organic instruments slowly mutate into soft drum
machines and ethereal synth arpeggios, painting a faded image of a perfect,
immaterial sunset.
Possibly the most atmospheric episode to date, Trujillo's mix is the soundtrack
to the special remote island in the middle of the ocean, which all of us have in
our fantasies and which we are constantly trying to reach.
