Description
It's been a difficult week for clouds, with a full moon working strong magic as Berlin takes the plunge into November.
In the search for an antidote to the darkness, Above The Clouds celebrates the altocumulus (altocumulus floccus, to be precise): neatly-formed rows of mid-level cloud that stretch across the sky like a vast tray of tiny white fresh bread rolls. These straight ripples visualise the particularly satisfying harmonies so often heard in hip hop loops, jazz, barbershop quartet, and sentimental rock, which this month's episode honours with tracks from Rare Silk, David Gilmore, Herbie Hancock and more.
