ship traffic is causing enourmous amounts of noise pullution, highly affecting
wildlife above and below the water – not just species like whales in maritime
environments, but also various other creatures living in or around large rivers
or lakes. Here, a still very sleepy beaver family is experiencing an evening
with numerous ships passing by in front of their lodge – cruise vessels as well
as cargo ships or a police boat patrolling. In the end, the rats (living there
too) are squeaking…
