Brum Radio's resident world music aficionado is back with another two hours of goodies from around the planet. On the January edition of WorldBeatUK there's no less than three featured albums: the 20th anniversary celebration album of Finnish fiddlers, Frigg, a reissue of great 1960's calypso from Lord Invader, and an album of Christmas Blues!

There's also previews of forthcoming albums by the likes of Haitian voodoo rock'n'roller Moonlight Benjamin, Portuguese fadista Lina with Raül Refree, American rockers Miles Nielsen & The Rusted Hearts, Madrid-based genre blenders, Track Dogs, American celtic folker Seamus Egan and upcoming reissues of music from the Sahara Desert in 1960, The Gambia in 1979 and Perú in 1972!

Glyn also takes a look back at some albums released in 2019 but that didn't come to his attention until more recently: including Scandinavian klezmer, Malian kora, Czech folk, Ghanaian highlife and producers [dunkelbunt] (Austria) and DJ Click (France).
