On the first of TWO Overflow Shows for June 2021, Glyn takes on a whole heap of new releases in the reggae/dub, Brazilian/latin and nu soul/nu jazz/new wave funk categories - as well as soul, electronic, disco, pop and dancehall/soca!
Two hours of great new music including UK talent from Brum Town's own Charmaine X and Carvalho, Manchester's Secret Night Gang, Scotland's Joseph Malik and Bristol's Snazzback and Black Roots.
There's French reggae outfits such as the BooBoo'zzz All Stars (reimagining Oasis and the Pet Shop Boys!), Danakil, David Cairol and Brain Damage (with Big Youth) as well as Bost & Bim, Guacayo, Orchestre Tout Puissant Marchel Duchamp, Ghetto Priest, Jesse Royal and Cloud of I.
Representing Brazil are Tuyo, and Jazz Is Dead are taking on João Donato. And did I mention Scatman Crothers, Casbah 73 and Catalunya's Albert Freixas, Germany's Sara Lugo, Finland and Benin's Helsinki-Cotonou Ensemble or St Lucia's SunDivas?
