The Overflow show is an offshoot of WorldBeatUK, where I get to play the albums or tracks that didn’t make it onto the regular monthly WorldBeatUK new releases show (first Monday of every month on Brum Radio and Mixcloud).
Many are there because they only got to me at - or after - the date of release, others because there wasn’t enough room on the show, and still others because they fit somewhere on the edges of my normal world music remit but are still worth some airplay.
Most of the tracks on this second show are from albums or eps released around April of this year (with a few exceptions).
Expect to hear a mix of world, jazz, soul, latin, fusion, folk and roots in a non-stop stream of global vibes . . .
