Jess Vincent’s album Lion’s Den is a delight - for me the production style brings to mind Dylan ‘s seminal album from 1970 New Morning or the Velvet Underground’s record Loaded. There’s a drama and urgency that underpins the album - this sounds like a collection of songs that demanded to be born.
