The Collective with Musical Metaphors (01/07/2021)

Woh, we have hit July already ! This week we have a guest mix from Dan, a DJ and digger who runs the page @musicalmetaphors - here's what he had to say:

'Musical Metaphors was set up to to share favourite records, host guest DJs and connect with other likeminded music heads! It’s been a blessing over lockdown as it’s given me a focus and has been great to interact with so many new people over music. I have a guest mix feature too so if you’d like to get involved, get in touch! I run a monthly radio show where I play a range of genres and tempos but for this guest mix I’ve put together a selection of some of favourite broken beat/nu jazz records from the likes of Dego, Samii, Kaidi, K15, Byron the Aquarius, Kyle Hall & Theo Parrish.

Musical Metaphors takes over the last hour of the show and Tom spins some of his new and old finds in the first two. This show is dedicated to a new part of The Collective family, baby Lowell joins a new vibration in the world. Bless up !
