This week we have Alena Arpels choose some records in the last hour, not only that, she provides some dialogue on why she has chosen her music. It's a lovely addition to our Selector Series and we are glad to have Alena join us. Alena has impeccable taste in rare groove, funk, soul, disco and boogie and has been collecting records and DJing for over 15 years. She plays regular sets at Spiritland, Brilliant Corners, Supermax, Brixton's famous The Prince of Wales pub and many more. Alena is a frequent guest at European soul weekenders also.
Tom also pick some music for the first two hours as he traverses Brum Radio airwaves with artists like Mukang Fields, Wrekin Havoc, Fantastic Man, Dip In The Pool, Charles Stepney. He also plays three big reggae cuts and a few Brazilian slow jams.
