Feliz Navidad everyone! Here is The A to X of alternative Xmas part one that is a sequence of festive oddities from the last century. It starts in 1966 with a bunch of NYC garage rockers and ends with a delicate ditty from a bunch of 90s Welsh psychedelic folkies. Yep we travel from 1966 to 1999 and along the way there are little heard 60s rarities; pioneering singer-songwriters; glam Glaswegians; punks, new wavers and powerpoppers; indie-pop pioneers; shoegazers; and slowcore bands getting festive. Part two will pick up on alternative Xmas classics from 2000 onwards - available from 23rd December.
