Sleeve Note Sessions #69 guests Ian Andrews & Sarah Fortes Mayer (25/05/2017)

This week’s guests are artists Ian Andrews and Sarah Fortes Mayer who are collaborating on the In-Public project, using art to inspire the young to learn from the hidden resource that is the experience of the old.

Ian is a multidisciplinary artist using drawing, painting, video, sculpture installation and performance and an experienced educator committed to greater public engagement with the arts. Sarah is primarily a sculptor using her own body as the mould, creating sculptures of the older person as she feels that as people age they become invisible to the rest of society.
