Every Monday from 10PM with percussionist and musician Julian Powell. Random Acts of Kindness is about the theme rather than the genre. Music gives us so much, while wanting so little of us all and it is inclusive of us all. It is very kind like that, so this can be achieved through these random (musical) acts.
This week show is the first anniversary of the Random Act of Kindness. With that in mind I am going back to the original theme of “Track 1’” with some great songs from, The Beastie Boys, Anderson Paak, Soulwax, Tony, Toni, Tone, Stevie Wonder and Esperanza Spaulding.
As usual there will be a selection of tunes in a range of styles such as jazz, latin, funk, rock, and soul.
