Hey Party people,
Every Monday from 10PM with percussionist and musician Julian Powell. Random Acts of Kindness is about the theme rather than the genre. Music gives us so much, while wanting so little of us all and it is inclusive of us all. It is very kind like that, so this can be achieved through these random (musical) acts.
This week show is called "Blue songs without the Blues", a selection of tunes with the words blue or blues in the title, that are not actually traditional blues songs. This show features music from local band Zhivago, the new single from Darcy Holmes featuring Myrugema, Steely Dan, Tony, Toni, Tone, Paul McCartney and Wings, Ben Harper and The Rollins Band.
As usual there will be a selection of tunes in a range of styles such as jazz, latin, funk, rock, reggae and soul.
