Join Matthew DF Evans for the sixth Concrète Music show. This weeks show is focused on one the most influential electronic records ever made, Manuel Göttsching’s ‘E2-E4’. The First half of the show focuses on the records of Göttsching’s bands Ash Ra Temple and Ashra and the shows second half plays the full, unabridged version of ‘E2-E4’. Göttsching has had such a profound effect on electronic music and for those unfamiliar with his work I hope this show serves as an interesting introduction into how Göttsching transitioned the hypnotic experimentalism of Krautrock into a proto-techno masterpiece.
