George Roberts
George’s poetry is to be heard and felt. Art is visceral. He is trying to generate feeling together, the primal libidinal thrill and ache, and/or political compassionate empathies and sympathies. There is trauma everywhere. And, healing. We are bodies of matter that bump and bruise and blush with pleasure; and endure pain.
Many of his poems were collected in When Life Looks Like Easy Street (Albion Beatnik 2014) Soundcloud: thelastpoet Performances: Spoken Folk with Tobias Sturmer and Sam Twigg Johnson. Blog: rworld2.net
