He was awarded a mentorship via Arts Council England from Offa’s Press, and recently had some poems included in “New Voices”, a collection of work from seven new poets from around the Wolverhampton area.
Marion Cockin
Marion was born in Wednesbury in the Black Country.
Her first collection Nailmakers' Daughters was with 2 other poets Iris Rhodes and Emma Pursehouse, a joyful collaboration with Jane Seymour as editor.
The Wednesbury Mangle Theory, her first solo collection was published in 2020.
Carol Howarth
Carol had never written poetry, but joined Women Who Write. It was to encourage women writers, generally at that time overlooked by publishers in favour of men. I joined Bilston Writers when I retired.
