Kamil is a Poet, Spoken word and Visual Artist born and raised in Birmingham. His work explores identity, community, Islam, the British Pakistani diaspora, masculinity and international activism. He combines contemporary commentary with narratives of the often overlooked and unheard.
Steve Harrison
Steve was born in Yorkshire and now lives in Shropshire His work appears in various forms from The Emergency Poet collections, Emma Press, Pop Shot, Riggwelter and Strix to Wetherspoons News. He regularly performs across the Midlands [50 gigs in 2018 ] and won the Ledbury Poetry Festival Slam in 2014.
Jessica Syposz
A writer based in Birmingham, Jess has loved writing poetry since she was a small(er) blob in dungarees. Her poetry plays with the relationship between the personal and the historical, and uses elements of folklore, body horror and narrative storytelling to explore historical memory and trauma.
