Andy Robinson Pops The Question: Rhythm and Blues Special (21/11/2018)

This week roll back the rug and prepare to shake, rattle, roll, flip, flop, fly and shake a tail feather to these honkin' R & B stompers. Subjects explored include affairs of the heart, alcohol, prison, last meals and forthcoming nuptials, amongst other things.

As is often the case this show is a thinly veiled excuse to play some absolute belters . This week the music exists in the sweet spot where blues, jazz and rock n roll meet. There's no queries and retorts from after 1960 but they really are perennials that stand the test of time.

There's a little bit of news and a competition but don't let that put you off... Turn it up and have a ball?
