It’s been more than nine decades since a horrifying railway disaster traumatised a sleepy village less than 20 miles from Bristol.
The collision of three trains and the fiery explosion it caused in Charfield became a national tragedy when it took place in 1928.
As the years passed however, the tragic event and the mysteries surrounding it has continued to capture the imagination of those living in the area
