This weeks Boogie Fanwagon moved from Friday afternoons and settled into its new Thursday slot 6-8pm Primetime After Drive Time This week we payed tribute to Alan Lancaster original Bass player from Status Quo who passed away on 26th September at the age of 72 with tracks from Status Quo, The Bombers and The Party Boys, and the featured Album was Alan Lancaster’s Bombers Live release from 2019 on Barrel & Squidger Records. Our Feature Same Title Different Song also featured Alan on vocals with Status Quo coupled with The Arrows. There was a preview and World Exclusive Radio First Play of the fantastic new single from Bristol based Southern Fried Rockers Ragged Union with Headed Home and awesome tunes from Brooks and Dunn, Massive Wagons, John Coghlan’s Quo, The Sweet, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Chas and Dave, John Du Cann, Spider, The Hicksville Bombers, Shanghai, The Lankasters, The Angels, Rick Parfitt and Hannah Rickard with Francis Rossi.
