In a slightly different Boogie Fanwagon this week the usual features were cast aside and there was a more mellow feel to the playlist while the nation is in mourning for HRH Queen Elizabeth II who passed away on Thursday 8th September at the age of 96 after 70 years as our monarch. There was however be a Featured Artist this week in the form of Queen, only the second time Jezza has had a Featured Artist in the history of the show playing tracks from Queens back catalogue alongside music from Status Quo, Jools Holland with Jeff Beck and the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Bees Make Honey, Canned Heat & Little Richard, Cream, Eric Johnson, King King, Dr. Boogie, The Beatles, Marillion, Bernie Marsden, Chas & Dave, Carl Perkins, E.L.O., Lloyd Langton Group, Marmalade, The Chefs, Kenny Wayne Shephard, Mountain, Fleetwood Mac, Faces, Squeeze, Rolling Stones, Easybeats and Glenn Tilbrook.
