Some tracks try real hard to convince you they're important. "Tunnel" doesn't bother with any of that. It just gets moving. Right away you've got this fast breakbeat rolling underneath everything, and before you know it you're already committed. Vocals drift in, little textures sneak around the edges, and all these tiny details keep showing up without asking for attention. It's got that feeling like you're late for something... not in a stressful way, just... you've got somewhere to be, man. The groove never really sits still. It keeps pushing, keeps breathing, keeps finding another corner to explore. There are these subtle little woodwind sounds floating around in the background, effects popping up just long enough to keep things interesting, and somehow it all stays loose while moving with real purpose. It's one of those records that feels like motion itself. No drama. No unnecessary baggage. Just a really solid breakbeat that knows exactly where it's headed.
