Description
On April 14, 2016,Prince performed 2 concerts in Atlanta. The 2nd which began at 10PM local time, would be his last.Always the consummate entertainer,Prince would not be limited to just one encore.Instead, he returned to the stage 3 times after initially saying goodbye. His final performance of the evening was a medley of three legendary tunes - “The Beautiful Ones,” “Diamonds & Pearls” & “Purple Rain.”And then, in a swirl of piano notes and thunderous applause,it was over.Prince took his bow, thanked the crowd & exited the stage for the last time.On April 15, Prince’s plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Quad City International Airport in Moline, Ill. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was treated for dehydration, influenza and complications from opioids. Doctors advised him to stay, but the musician returned home instead. He died on April 21 after being found unconscious in an elevator at Paisley Park.Take a look at the comment for detailed playlist and full story.
