Absent from the set was the latest European release, which had given the band their biggest hit in the UK singles chart the previous day with the magnificent You Belong In Rock N' Roll.
Released as the first single from the upcoming second Tin Machine album and ahead of the It’s My Life Tour (which kicked off in October), the track was promoted with various formats and some memorable TV appearances. Despite this, the record only reached #33, albeit still the most successful Tin Machine single release in the UK.
