BowieingOut LP was originally conceived as"a complete opposite of other albums",consisting of all cover songs except one original composition, and mainly turned towards the US market. So,Bowie's 73 album PinUps was supposed to be the first of two collections of 60s cover versions. While PinUps featured covers of British songs, the 2nd was to be made up of songs by American artists. Why the plan for the2nd album fizzled is not really clear. But while Bowie never released Bowie-ingOut,he did continue covering American songs throughout much of his career.this is a 50 tracks Set.All the Covers he made in songs of American only artists (even if some are written by himself but first recorded by U.S.Singers-see Iggy Pop)with the exception of the ''soulful '' version of the Beatles song ''Across the Univarse '' throughout his career, with year after year according to official or bootleg release years.Take a look at the Comment for tracklist
