So, one of my favourite record labels curated by one of my favourite collectives celebrate 21 years in the game! Sonar Kollektiv and Jazzanova have been consistent purveyors of the alternative sound of Berlin. Against the world famous backdrop of Techno out of the city, Sonar Kollektiv engaged a large number of musicians to showcase Soul, Jazz - what was to become Nu Jazz - House, Reggae and a whole lot more. I had the pleasure of speaking with Sonar Kollektiv SEO and Jazzanova member, Jurgen Von Knoblauch, as we discussed life, loves and music.
