Selection Train is a Roots Reggae record label founded by producer Jerry Perilous in 2015, releasing self-produced Rootical sound system shots on vinyl with contributions from some of the leading lights of the UK/JA scene.
Jerry Perilous has been collecting and selecting reggae for 30 years, cutting his teeth as a founder member of Solution Sound on the London sound system and festival circuit before branching out on his own as a selector and playing as a guest on sound systems all around Europe and the UK.
Expect an eclectic mix of reggae revive styles with Perilous delving in to the vinyl vaults and wandering where the music takes him: From the deepest rarities and unreleased dubplates to the foundation anthems that built reggae, also showcasing essential reissues as they drop.
