Hey music lovers … 😎💜⚡️🔊 Well, it’s been a long time …. I shouldn’t have left you. Sorry, was unavoidable I’m afraid. Great to back though, and hope you enjoyed this week’s selections? I was pretty pleased with how it turned out in the end. Some Autumnal themed tracks, and lots of significant dates / birthdays anniversaries on this week’s show, so we played 2 from Prince’s “1999” to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its release, and the same for Culture Club’s “Time”, so we got 2 gorgeous George’s on the show. It was the 35th anniversary of David Sylvian’s brilliant “Secrets of the Beehive” LP, and it was Adam Ants birthday the day before the show.
And how many radio shows do you know that flow effortlessly from Four Tet into George Michael? Not many I’ll wager!
