The latest 'all 45's selection from KIW HQ doesn't leave the early 90s. As hip hop and house came of age and began to splinter into myriad sub-genres the humble 7" single began to fade into a brief obscurity. 12s of remixes and extended mixes were far more sought after than radio edits and DJs wanted extended outro breaks rather than one bar fades... all except our KIW. Why? He answers, quite simply: "I couldn't afford anything else"

All of these were records he bought when starting out as a DJ ... mixing 20 records an hour for excited teenagers looking for their first snog ... halcyon days!
