This weekend the BAOL boys head back to their spiritual home for the carnage of Hastings' Jack In The Green festivities. Every May Day you can find King Sunny Ade P and Steve KIW in the heart of the Old Town, ensconced within the Royal Standard, playing pastoral folk off a precariously balanced bingo machine beneath last year’s vandalised poster. Imagine a group of Medieval Ultras on the Wickerman film set dancing to Now That’s What I Call Pagan 14 and you’re nearly there.This year they'll be joined by BAOL's Vibes Controller as well. Killing them won't bring back your apples but the 10am start might.
